About India Online Visa:
The India Online Visa is an online travel authorization introduced by the Government of India to simplify entry for foreign nationals visiting India. It allows eligible travelers to apply online without visiting an embassy or consulate.
Based on the purpose of travel, applicants can choose from different e-Visa categories such as e-Tourist, e-Business, and e-Medical. The entire application process is completed online. Once approved, the e-Visa is sent by email. Travelers must carry a valid passport and a printed copy of the approved e-Visa when entering India.

India Online Visa services are available to citizens of many countries across North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Oceania, including the USA, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, most EU countries, and several others worldwide.
e-Visa categories and rules::
The India Online Visa facility includes the following sub-categories:
- e-Tourist Visa
- e-Business Visa
- e-Medical Visa
- e-Medical Attendant Visa
- e-Conference Visa
Travelers (except those on an e-Conference Visa) may combine activities allowed under different e-Visa categories. For e-Conference Visa holders, only activities permitted under the e-Tourist Visa can be combined. A maximum of two e-Medical Attendant Visas are allowed with one e-Medical Visa.
The India Online Visa is valid for entry through designated international airports in India, including major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Kochi, Goa, and others. Entry is also permitted through select seaports such as Mumbai, Chennai, Kochi, Goa, and Mangalore. Exit from India is allowed through any authorized Immigration Check Post (ICP).
